If you connected Facebook to Ecartify Ads, you can disconnect it and have the data we received from Facebook deleted at any time. Use any one of the options below.
Option 1: Disconnect in your store admin
- Log in to your store admin.
- Go to Marketing → Ecartify Ads (or Settings → Integrations → Facebook).
- Click Disconnect Facebook and confirm.
Your access tokens are deleted straight away and the rest of your Facebook data is deleted within 30 days.
Option 2: Remove Ecartify in your Facebook settings
- On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Go to Apps and websites (under “Your activity” or “Permissions”, depending on your version of Facebook).
- Find Ecartify and click Remove.
Facebook tells us when the app has been removed, and we delete your data in the same way as Option 1.
Option 3: Email us
Send an email to info@ecartify.com with the subject “Ecartify Ads data deletion request”, and include your store address and the email address or name on the Facebook account you connected. We may ask you to confirm that you own the account. We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete, within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your Facebook access tokens.
- Your Facebook name, user ID and email address.
- The ad accounts, Pages, Instagram accounts, campaigns, audiences and ad results stored for your store in Ecartify Ads.
We may keep a limited record (for example, invoices for your Ecartify plan, or a log that the deletion took place) where the law requires it. Those records are not used for anything else.
What does not get deleted
Deleting data from Ecartify does not delete anything from Meta. Your ad account, Pages, campaigns and ads stay in Meta Ads Manager, and ads that are already running will keep running and spending until you pause or delete them there. Pause them in Meta Ads Manager first if you want them to stop.
